It’s just a period…..
72% of girls start their period without understanding what is happening to them and why. Edora want to normalise the conversation around periods to ensure children do not feel the stigma and apprehension that sometimes surrounds menstruation. The book Menstrupedia allows parents to properly engage with their daughters from the very first conversation they have about periods.
Menstrupedia is an engaging, comprehensive and fully illustrated story about three girls, Grace, Rose and Lucy as they go on a thrilling adventure and discover what periods are, learn about tracking their menstrual cycle and understand the importance of health and hygiene measures during their periods. On this journey led by Grace’s older sister Chloe, the girls begin to understand that their periods are nothing to be uncomfortable about. Periods do not make them weaker, they only make them strong and unstoppable.
